UNESCO Chair Con-E-Ect Participating in the EU funded MONITOX Project
The UNESCO Chair Con-EEct is participating in the project titled "Interdisciplinary Black Sea Basin Network for Joint Sustainable Monitoring of Migration of Toxic Compounds in the Environment, Improved Assessment of Environmental Status and Harmful Impact Assessment on Human Health and Prevention of Population Exposure" with the Acronym "MONITOX." The project is funded by the EU through the Black Sea Cross Border Cooperation Programme. The lead partner is the Dunarea de Jos University , Galati, ROMANIA and the other partners are Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology (EMaTTech), Kavala, GREECE, the National Research and Development Institute of the Danube Delta , Tulcea, ROMANIA, the Institute of Zoology , Chisinau, Republic of MOLDOVA and the Institute of Geology and Seismology , Chisinau, Republic of MOLDOVA. Dimitris Emmanouloudis the Chair and George N. Zaimes the Deputy Chair presented in the seminar on the introduction of the MONITOX project. The seminar was held in the main campusEMaTTech in Kavala on December 19th 2018.
